New opportunities are now open for applications with our global Creative Economy programme in September 2022.

Through our global Creative Economy programme, we are publishing several opportunities open for application in September 2022. We welcome applications from UK consultants, partners and researchers to work with us on upcoming Creative Economy activities and projects.

WIDER EUROPE

Georgia, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine | Consultancy

Policy consultancy looking to increase the awareness, ability, and commitment of policy makers to support the creative economy in their countries, and to develop new partnerships with a view to longer-term collaboration with the UK. Countries who will take part in the programme are Georgia, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.

Open to: A UK partner to provide consultancy services in the creative industries and the creative economy in response to identified challenges or needs in the countries involved in the programme.

Malaysia Research

Research on the role of arts and digital technology in the future of Malaysia’s creative economy

The research focus will be on understanding the ecosystem with its barriers, opportunities and stakeholders. Research findings will be utilised to develop a two-year programme for the development of sustainable creative collaborations pathways and activities between Malaysia and the UK

Indonesia | Research

Mapping the creative hubs and creative practitioners in Jakarta

The aim of the research is to gain an up-to-date view of the hubs and creative practitioners, their profiles, sustainability, impact and challenges, and build on this. The long-term goal of this project is to use the research methodology and report as a benchmark for other Indonesian cities to develop their creative and cultural industries.

Open to: We are looking for a UK consultant to conduct a mapping and situational analysis of creative hubs and creative practitioners across the city of Jakarta

Mapping the creative and cultural districts in the UK and Thailand

The aim of the research is to establish best-practice models for sustainable communities and creative economy development. Research findings will be utilised to develop a two-year programme for the development of creative districts in Thailand.

MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA

Kuwait | Consultancy

An opportunity for a UK consultant to deliver a creative bootcamp which will include a series of face-to-face workshops, lectures and mentoring sessions for cultural and creative entrepreneurs. The aim of this project is to support the Kuwaiti creative and cultural sectors to connect to the UK, and access UK expertise and experience.

Open to: UK consultants with experience in curating and producing programmes for online and face-to-face delivery for creative and cultural entrepreneurs.

The Americas

Mexico, Brazil and Perú Mentoring Programme

An invitation to tender to design and facilitate an online mentoring scheme focused on sustainability best practices in the creative and cultural sectors.

UK festival practitioners will develop collaborations between Mexico, Brazil and Perú through an online mentoring programme providing support, guidance and capacity building to develop transformational behaviour change, as well as to have climate action conversations across cultural projects.

Open to: UK suppliers with a solid experience in international online training to design and facilitate the methodology and content for a multi country programme.
