Remix Sydney - exploring culture and technology

REMIX Global Summits tackle the big ideas shaping the future of culture and creative cities. They are a forum where creative leaders from different sectors can exchange insights, ideas and work together towards common goals. REMIX Sydney is the 2014 event for Australasia.

REMIX Sydney is the 2014 event for Australasia. Sessions explored Digital Culture, The Rise of Creative Capitals, Building Big Ideas and Passion Branding.  We'll be sharing some speaker highlights from the event, starting with Google's Tom Uglow.

Tom Uglow has worked at Google for nearly 8 years, he started Google’s Creative Lab in Europe and now works in Sydney, Australia on experimental projects that help connect people and use Google, Android and YouTube in creative ways.

Tom Uglow works the stage at REMIX Sydney

Tom speaks on innovation around the world; tweets, posts and blogs on digital creativity; he is a trustee of D&AD and AWARD and has judged, presented, and enthused on TV, online, and in print. He also describes himself as "a Sunday-coder, a traditional creative, and a fuzzy strategist."

Tom took to the stage at Sydney Remix to discuss how audiences are consuming culture in a digital world.
