Hernán Braberman

YCE Finalist

Hernán specialises in 2D and 3D product design and design management for international consumers.

Born in Buenos Aires in 1972, Hernán Braberman graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Buenos Aires with a degree in Industrial Design before co-founding Tridimage, the first Argentine integrated graphic and structural packaging and product design consultancy. Since 1995 he is Design Director of Tridimage, responsible for the creative direction and design management of its industrial and graphic design projects.

His experience in 2D and 3D packaging and product design covers aesthetics, branding, form, ergonomic, technical and functional aspects of packaging and products – and his works span across industries including food and beverage, wine, health and beauty, technology and consumer goods. He taught Industrial Design at the University of Buenos Aires and at ORT Institute of Technology and is also regularly requested as a speaker at design conferences. His work has been displayed in numerous exhibitions and featured in international design books, TV programmes and articles.

His ongoing quest to emphasize the marriage of structural and graphic packaging design has been instrumental in starting Tridimage´s international expansion and gaining many of the clients for his company. Tridimage's reputation attracts calls from both established and emerging international companies operating in Latin America, U.S.A., Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Hungary and Germany.

Hernán was one of the finalists of the YCE Design Award 2005.
